Due to the popularity of our last blog, Top 10 Tourist Destinations in Australia, we have decided to publish another list of favorite Australian tourist spots. Enjoy!

Fraser Island:

Fraser Island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since 1992 tourists have been enthralled to see the green rain forests, clear fresh water lakes, and remarkable sand cliffs. The Dingo population is a popular attraction amongst tourists. The vast stretches of sand beaches increase the beauty of the area and justify it as a major tourist attraction in Australia.

Sydney Harbor Bridge:

Sydney Harbor Bridgehas been a major tourist attraction in Australia throughout the ages. Almost all tourist visit the famous bridge since at the foot of the bridge one can see “The Rocks.” These rocks are believed to be the first building blocks of what is today the city of Sydney. Tourists can take an escorted tour to the top of the bridge.

Great Barrier Reef:

One of the most famous diving spots on the world, the Great Barrier Reef, is also a considerably well protected marine park. As you can see from this satellite picture of The Great Barrier Reef, it stretches along 86 million acres along the North East Australian Coast. The great natural beauty to be seen on this reaf has given it a mark of recognition.

Sydney Opera House:

Constructed in the twentieth century by the famous Danish architect John Utzon, the Sydney Opera House is a world famous tourist attraction. It draws thousands of tourists yearly from across the globe. Various escorted tours are available at the Opera House.
